History

Cat Trax Rentals is owned by Brian and Kim Butler. Brian managed a rental store in the early 80’s with his father and continued to foster the dream of opening his own rental store. Being a father and husband took precedence for several years, but in 1996 he began to dream again. His dream came to fruition in 1997 and while he continued to work as a manager at IBM, his wife, Kim began running Cat Trax Rentals on a day to day basis. She knew very little about the equipment industry, but learned quickly and discovered that she loved every facet of the business. They have lived in Liberty Hill for many years and enjoy being an active part of the community. Raising their family, attending church and operating Cat Trax in Liberty Hill has been such a blessing! Both of their children, Casey & Corey have worked at Cat Trax on and off throughout their lives.

Staff

Cat Trax Rentals has a magnificent staff with many years of experience in the equipment rental & equipment maintenance field. Brian and Kim are onsite regularly and rely on several others to complete the team:

Robert Capeheart is our manager. His main responsibility is customer service while running the front counter, but he can turn a wrench and maintain equipment like a seasoned mechanic too! Robert just celebrated his 10th anniversary with Cat Trax.

Corey Butler has been around since the start of Cat Trax. He’s Brian and Kim’s son and he started working for them when he was a young boy thru high school. Then he enlisted in the Marine Corps and was gone for five years while he served our country. But he’s back home now and working as a part of the Cat Trax team again and his parents are happy to have him back!

Mike Payne has been with Cat Trax for almost 2 years and he used to be a customer of ours. He likes to be called “Pickle”. Pickle works in the shop and is the main man when it comes to keeping our equipment serviced and maintained so our equipment stays running as smooth as possible for our customers.

Stephen Corley has been with Cat Trax for 2 years now. He used to work for us and decided to come back. We’re glad to have him back and if you need equipment delivered, Stephen will take care of that. He also takes care of all our trailer maintenance and repair.
